Football is all about getting the ball into the opponent's cage. The team having performed this action the greatest number of times in 90 minutes is declared the winner. A match can last up to 120 minutes and then end with a penalty shootout. Matches are played in front of varying numbers of spectators in stadiums with different types of playing surfaces, but which must be playable. A team has a coach who is sometimes accompanied by a technical staff made up of technicians of different kinds. The teams are separated by officials called referees. There are four of them: a central referee, two touch judges officiating in each team's half, and an assistant referee.
